Charcoal Face Mask

This is our "repair" charcoal powder face mask. It exfoliates and detoxifies, leaving you with clean, smooth skin. It is made with kaolin clay, oat flour, french green clay, and charcoal. Each jar comes with enough powder to make about 8 masks. Just add water, aloe vera juice, plain yogurt, or aloe vera gel.

To use: Mix 2.5 teaspoons of the powder with 1 teaspoon of purified water or aloe vera juice to form a thick paste. You can also mix the powder with 1.5 teaspoons of plain yogurt or aloe vera gel. Wash and dry your face and apply the mask to your face. Leave it on for about 10 minutes. When it starts to harden it is time to take it off. You can either rinse your face or use a warm washcloth to remove it (this may stain the washcloth). Dry your face and then apply a face moisturizer. 

Kaolin clay - gently cleanses the skin and is soothing for those with sensitive skin. It reduces oily skin, purifies and detoxifies the pores, treats acne, gently exfoliates and removes, skin cells, improves skin elasticity and delays signs of aging
Oat flour - softens and moisturizes skin, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, minimizes scarring, and reduces inflammation                                             French green clay - cleans out pores, detoxifies the skin, exfoliates the skin, soothes and calms irritated skin, produces firmer skin, controls oil production, clears blemishes, and nourishes the skin
Activated charcoal powder - cleanses the skin, unclogs and minimizes pores, removes deeper impurities and dead skin cells, removes toxins, improves acne, and gently exfoliates


External use only. It is recommended to patch test your skin to check for any irritation or allergies before using. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. 

If you have larger pores or dry skin patches, you may experience temporary staining due to the charcoal. Please keep this in mind if ordering.  

In some cases it may settle into larger pores or dry skin patches and temporarily stain. It’s best to try an oil based cleanser and then a foaming cleanser if needed. If that still doesn’t work, a gentle exfoliation with a product containing salicylic acid would clean out the pores. You can also try another type of exfoliate like a sugar scrub. Use any of these products at your discretion.
